This image speaks for itself — a cheetah caught in a trapper's wire snare, later to be consumed in the fur coat industry. When planning this large etching, I chose not to show any torment in the facial expression ... instead, just arranging all the elements of the image in such a way to maximize the tension of the moment. These tools were borrowed (stolen) from Brancusi and Franz Kline.
