My understanding of gestalt is that it's a holistic way of seeing something. By using a feather in this etching, I'm trying to show how the owl is a sum of it's parts, and nothing without the feather, yet a feather is not the same without the complete owl. A small attempt at seeing the whole environment as a sum of everything being connected.
