Zacharie Robutel, sieur de la Noue: (1665 - 1732)
He was the son of Claude Robutel, sieur de Ste.Andre & Susanne de Gabrielle, baptized in Monteal in 1665. He married Catherine Lemoyne de la Trinite (daughter of Jacques Lemoine & Mathurine Gode) on 18 April of 1689 in Montreal and they had a son Joachim, born in 1705 at Bellevue.

He established forts at Kaministiquia (Thunder Bay), Lac de la Pluie (Rainy Lake) & "Lac des Assinibouels". During this period in the west he travels to Dakota lands to obtain peace between them & the northern tribes. Zacharie died in 1732 at the "baie-des-Puants" (Green Bay, Wisconsin).
