Simon Girty: (1741-1818)
In 1756 he was living in western Penn. and
later captured by the Senecas with his brothers. He later became an interpreter
at Ft.Pitt (Pittsburgh), than moved to Detroit in the British service.
Simon retired from British service in 1783 and moved to Malden.
