Babejigaundibay (Kechebabesegundiba or Curly-Head):
From 1770 to 1825 he was a civil & war Chief of the Upper Mississippi
Ojibwe (Crow Wing & Gull Lake villages. He belonged to the Crane or
Businause totem/clan and lead attackes on the Dakota at Long Prairie &
mouth of the Minnesota River. Curly-Head died on his return from the Prairie
du Chien treaty in 1825.
