Entry: Education 5+

Skills: Character receives skill levels equal to the character’s Education attribute from any of the following, but no more than Level 3 in any single skill:+

• Aircraft Mechanic(Engineering)
• Biology (pure orEngineering)
• Chemistry (pure orEngineering )
• Construction(Engineering)
• Computer(Engineering)
• Electronics(Engineering)
• Geology
• Musician
• Instruction
• Language
• Mechanic(Engineering)
• Metallurgy(Engineering)
• Meteorology
• Excavation(Engineering)
• Persuasion

Contacts: One, either academic or journalist.

Special: May elect to join ROTC (Reserve Officer Training Corps), or NROTC or AFROTC (the Naval and Marine equivalents), if those exist in the character’s nation. If so, substitute Leadership: 1 in place of any TWO skill levels above. The next career choice must be:

Entry into the regular armed forces

 Entry into theReserves in lieu of a secondary activity.
