The activities of most Support troops are self-explanatory. It should be pointed out to characters that troops performing these functions generally do not feel in any way "inferior" to combat troops or sailors, and, in well-trained militaries, carry out their duties, whatever they may be, with a great deal of professionalism and pride.

 "Without us, those special forces pukes are gonna have to eat their Ammo..." is a fairly typical attitude for a support echelon soldier.
