 Basic Training: Soviet

 Note - Army Spetznaz and Front Spetznaz are employed by Soviet Armies and Fronts in support of tactical operations. TVD Spetznaz are used by the Strategic Directorates and the  General Staff for strategic operationswiping out NATO HQ in Brussels, for example.

 Naval Spetznaz are employed by the four major soviet Fleets (Northern, Baltic, Pacific and Black Sea) to support their operations. Reports indicate that they have used midget submarines as a method of infiltrating naval bases.

 Osnaz is the KGB's special operations group, and is roughly equivalent to Spetznaz, except as noted below.)

  • KGB Osnaz - USSF Table -  (Officers must serve term as Government Agent prior to joining Osnaz)
  • Reydoviki (Air Assault Troops) - Raider Table

 NAVY

 Naval Aviators use same career description as Air Force. The Soviet Navy has six helicopterV/STOL carriers, and may soon add a real carrier.

 Submarine Service - Only take ONE first skill at a level of two. NO backup school.
