Former Soviet Bloc marine troops are intervention forces. They may use Infantry, Armor, Artillery and Support career charts. Dutch Royal Marines are the same as the British - they train intensively together, in fact. They take US Marine Basic Training, and may be in Infantry or Support careers. Infantry are generated on the British Marine table, above. Note that the Dutch Marines also have several special unit - see "Netherlands" for details. French "FusilierMarins" are a large part of the French rapid deployment force. They are essentially raiders. They use the naval raider table from the special forces charts (see ARMY). Spain and several latin american nations have Marine Corps. They are primarily naval troops with some commando elements - see the Nations page for details. South Korea, Turkey and Thailand all have marine corps modelled on the USMC, and have the same ground forces (not Marine Air) career paths available. |
