2/6/01 We’re moving! It’s a long story, but after 3.5 years, the Twilight Character Generation site has moved to a new location. Please bookmark it and pass the word around the Twilight/Merc Community!. Also - the author of this site is personally back in circulation, after a very difficult year 2000 from a personal and legal perspective. How bad was it? Well, if you’ve written feedback to me in the past year, I probably never read it. Write me again, at the new address! Here’s to a better 2001! Look for the site to get updated more frequently. 8//22/00 I added a link to “Haze Gray and Underway” to the Navy section. This site is a superb, up-to-date source for info on current world naval organizations and equipment. 4/30/2000 I’ve updated New Zealand (thanks to Raymond Gray), added the Singaporean military, and fixed a few nagging little typos. 4/2/2000 I’ve added a career for Military Musician to the site, after several requests from military musicians, as well as people who just love bagpipe music. I’ve also added a “Musician” skill, to be used by Military Musicians, Entertainers (all you rock stars out there) and at University and Graduate School. 2/8/2000 Updates and corrections to US Navy and Air Force Special Forces, from Benjamin Gilberg. 1/16/2000 Updates to Canada, courtesy of Brad Moore. We also added the French counterterrorism unit GIGN. 1/12/2000 I added some new information about New Zealand, and updated Zimbabwe just a tad. I also added information about Commonwealth Regiments, and Scott Steinmetz’ additions about US aircraft. 1/6/2000 We recieved a major update on Norway’s armed forces from Carl Roger Nilsen today. 1/3/2000 Added feedback from correspondents around the world:
Also added American civilian intel and law enforcement agencies, British Guards regiments, and many other details to specialized units. 12/28/99 - Back on the Air! After ten months, I’ve finally had the time to get this site redone. A disk crash last April ate all the source code for the site. And while reformatting 141 pages of HTML may not seem like that big a deal, I had some personal BS to deal with as well. But all’s well that ends well. We’re back. 12/28/99 - New Counterterrorism Links I’ve added links in the Nationalities pages to information about the world’s major counterterrorism units. This information is on the Terrorism Research Center site. 12/28/99 - Updates I’ve added a few updates to the nationalities sections. More are yet to come. Those of you who’ve written with new information in the last six months, hang in there - I’ll get your input out on the site this week! |
