 Military Police

MILITARY POLICE—Officer and Enlisted

"Heard in a Royal Military Police Corporal's Mess...

"So there we were, staring at that bloody tank, with it's gun tube through the bierkeller window in Hohne, having seen it just let rip a blank charge. Naturally, the place is a wreck.

"Turns out the biermeister refused the tankies admission, even though they'd cleaned up. after the exercise. Called 'em English Invaders.

"So the crew said, let us in, or you'll regret it.

 "No go.

"They politely left, and came back with their bloody Challenger there, put the tube through the door, and, after half a minute to let everyone inside run for their lives, let rip.

"(laugh-cough) Everyone in there came out looking like a Disney cartoon character who'd just been shot with a shotgun. Blackened faces, messed up hair blasted backwards, the whole nine yards...(laugh-cough-cough-laugh)

"Nothing's left intact, and the biermeister, and most of his customers, are now stone deaf, Sir, I told the Captain, when I showed him the report just now... Wanna know what he said?

"Charge them with careless driving! (hysterical laughter)"

Military policemen and women of all arms of service act pretty much like policemen in civilian life. (Much of this career is thanks to Roger Stenning, whose INTSUM site is an excellent Twilight resource).
