Civilian Job Status

In the original Twilight 2000 v2.2, Civilians didn’t have ranks - but they did have promotion chances...

Because it’s true - work in the civilian world DOES have its escalating status. These charts try to depict the various levels among civilian jobs. Some are formal ranks, while others are fairly subjective measurements.

Note that not all civilian jobs have ranks, and others will only have them occasionally - for example, a doctor in private practice will not be measured by any hierarchy, while one working in a major hospital will be subject to a fairly codified rank structure.]

Also note that that not all civilian careers have six levels.
