Joe's Arcade Machine

Welcome to my arcade machine! I picked up a cabinet 2 weeks ago and started my long awaited arcade cabinet. This is just temporary until I get my 21" monitor. It isn't too bad for temporary though. I have a 15" monitor that I can rotate at will and so far, 1 control panel. I hope to have at least 3 control panels for 2 player games and what not. I have to pull out the monitor to rotate it but it works. Here are a few pictures for your viewing pleasure. (Click for a larger view)

This is the inside of the machine when I got it.                       Here is a front view. There is glass on it.

Another shot inside.                                                      And another. (Here Kitty!)

Here is a side shot. (Not wild about the red)              Here it is after some work. Horizontal screen here (Joust)

And here is a vertical shot. (Ms. Pac Man.)

I plan to have 2-3 control panels interchangeable and a 21" monitor mounted horizontally. I have also bought the Ms. Pac-Man/Galaga joystick for the 20 year reunion machine that Namco put out. I got that from Happ Controls for $20. I plan on using that in the 1 player control panel. If you are thinking of getting one, (they are sweet for 4-way games) it can only mount on metal control panels. (Very short stick) So you may have to do what I did and have someone else make a plate for it. (Thanks Mark!) There is a picture below of the plate that I plan to mount on a wood control panel. I hope to have a much better page and a lot of updates when I get my 21" monitor. Until then, E-mail me with any questions or comments. Thanks for looking.

Here is the plate with the Ms. Pac-Man/Galaga joystick mounted on it. Sweet!

Update:

I just wired my I-Pac to a parallel port adaptor for multiple control panels. Here is a picture.
