Pierre-Jacques Payan/Payen de Noyan Desnoyer, sieur de Chavois/Chavoy:
Pierre-Jacques was the son of Capt.Pierre Payen de Noyan & Catherine-Jeanne
Lemoyne (dau.of Charles Lemoyne & Catherine Primot Thiery), born about
1706 (bapt. 3 Nov.1695) in Montreal. He married Louise Catherine d'Aillebout/d'Ailleboust
(dau. of Nicolas Daillebout de Manthet & Francoise Jane Denis) in Montreal
on 17 Nov.1731. Their children were: Pierre Louis de Noyan (b.10 Dec.1741,
Detroit) & Catherine (m.Pierre Legardeur de Repentigny on 30 Jan.1753,
Montreal).
Pierre was the commander of Fort Pont-Chartrain from 1739 to 1740.
