Rene Bourassa II: (1718-1792)
Rene II was the son of Rene Bourassa dit LaRonde born in Laprairie,
Ouebec. He married (m.1744) Anne-Charlotte-Veronica, the daughter of Jean
Bapt.lChevalier & Francoise Alavoine at Michilimackinac. Their children
were, Rene Francois (died as infant), Charlotte-Ambrosine (b.1746), Anne-Catherine
(1747-1818)(m.1st.Charles Langlade in 1754 & 2nd.Jean Leduc in 1773),
Daniel (bapt.1752), Charles Louis (b.1752), Ann Agnes (b.1757), Louis Francois
(bapt.1758), Charles Jean (bapt.1781) & Angelique (1763-1767).
From 1733 to 1735 Rene was hiring men at Montreal for Michilimackinac,
Lac Ouynipigon & Lac des Bois.
