The Secret Idiot and the Axes of Evil
Before the "election" of George Bush to the
office of president, many people were quite rightly pointing
out to us that Bush is a philistine moron whose only talent
is to fail upwards. Using his family name, enormous
wealth, along with support from the extreme right and
tapeworm capitalists like Enron and the Carlyle
Group, he was placed forcibly into the Oval Office,
even though he lost the election. Various commentators
were pointing out
his many verbal gaffs and surprising ignorance of
geography and history. It was plenty evident that
he is the dumbest president we have ever had. BUT,
the media and PR groups went to work immediately to spin
his image. Soon everyone on TV was telling us how
intelligent he was, and what a great leader he is.
The campaign was mildly successful, but there were plenty
of people who still laughed at him.
Then came September 11th. Though Bush disappeared
for almost a day, and Cheney disappeared for months (obviously
to help Kenneth Lay shred documents). Soon even
Paul Wellstone and Dick Gephardt were groveling at his
feet and supporting the amazingly convenient military
campaign to dump billions of dollars of high tech weapons
on Afghanistan and arrest suspected terrorists.
Democrats were marching the fascist goosestep, and echoing
the media's hypnotic message: "George Bush is handling
the war well." In reality, his "people"
handled the diplomatic matters of lining up Muslim and
other non-Muslim nations behind us, and the military did
a good job launching missiles and dropping laser
guided bombs (laden with depleted uranium ballast? They
tell us no.) The extra weight helps dig into
those cave bunkers. Some of the bombs used (the "Daisy
Cutter") are so large and powerful, they make craters
several football fields across. Unmanned spy planes
with missiles. High tech spy satellites. Etc.
No wonder they did a "good job" handling the
war. I am one of those who believes that there was
absolutely nothing impressive about it, except for the
strong diplomacy, which followed several days of lunatic
posturing and idiot remarks in the days following the
attack. Remember that? Clinton went to New
York and got a better reception and more media attention
than Bush? Bush climbed atop a pile of rubble and
said something typical of a cowboy--something like we're
gonna go kick their butts.
But all that's forgotten now. The media have hypnotized
Americans with their right wing propaganda. "Bush
is a very good president who gives good speeches."
Even I have to admit that his speeches showed some marked
improvement in quality of English, though I seldom believe
or agree with anything he says.
It was really starting to frustrate me that the hard
evidence of Bush's idiocy had more or less evaporated
once he adapted to using the teleprompter.
Unscripted remarks were few and far between. I started
to wonder if perhaps he actually had become smarter.
Bush's February trip to Korea cleared this all up for
me. After visiting the Peace Museum there, and hearing
a gory story of an axe killing of two American soldiers.
His remark was "No wonder I think they're evil." [click

Surprisingly, none of the media sources seem to be commenting
on the sheer idiocy of the remark, which is nothing less
than an admission that he has no opinions of his own,
but this evidence persuaded him that Carl Rove's opinions,
which are his, are correct. Absolutely amazing stuff. (There
are some
indications that the ban on Bush bashing is ending.)
It gets funnier too. He railed North Korea for
pushing ahead with a massive military build-up in spite
of the general poverty of the nation. I wonder if
he realizes how ironic that is as 50% of the nation has
lost massive amounts of money in stocks and 401k money
as a direct result of his "work." Unemployment
is way up. Nevertheless, we just finished testing
some of the most expensive military hardware ever made,
and are planning more war, and expanding our military
funding to levels unimagined two years ago when we were
talking about "peace dividends." Furthermore,
the secret projects for biological weapons (the
anthrax received by Daschle has been identified as a product
of US military laboratories) and other weapons of
mass destruction being carried out here in America are
leaking out. I can't figure out what the difference
is between North Korea and America, except that North
Korean government is Stalinist, and ours is Reaganist.
Beyond that, we look pretty similar.
The Real Axis of Evil
Never mind Korea, Iran and Iraq. Who are the real
bastards that are messing up democracy? I can tell
you. If an official Axis of Evil has to have three
agents in it, then I'll have to compress them into categories.
The true Axis of Evil, the unholy three that are destroying
America and the world are:
1) Carlyle Group
& Lockheed
Martin (Military-Industrial evil)
2) Enron &
Halliburton (energy
& utility evil)
3) Federalist Society
(judicial and governmental evil--rat
