4.0 browser or better required for best results on this site.

The links on this site have been carefully selected for their informative value. Links to highly commercial sites, and those emphasizing chat rooms are largely absent from these pages. You will find discussions of spiritual practices including: meditation, unorthodox theology, witchcraft, magic, fortune telling, sexuality, gender issues, and even some deviant behaviors like dancing. No endorsements are implied. These links are presented in the interest of truth and our constitutional right to religious freedom.  We hope to dispel many misconceptions, lies and false propaganda that surround most of these groups by letting them speak for themselves. Some of these sites are very interesting. Others are just plain weird. I have carefully sorted these links so that they have useful and illustrative content for the purposes of research, or honest curiosity. Some editorial comments are provided, but always in the spirit of freedom, diversity and good taste. All links are periodically checked and updated to eliminate dead links.

The Secular Web Tim Maroney's "Even if I did Believe."  Good reasons why many of us have chosen to reject the Bible and its author--after having read it. The Origins of Christianity an essay on Christianity as a myth. Watchman Expositor Index of Cults and Religions  superficial  descriptions of most extant cults from a mainstream Christian perspective. Less biased and hateful  than most.

And now for some crackpots, humor and hatemongers

Cutting Edge:  More Fundamentalist vitriol and paranoia.  Hateful anti-masonic rhetoric.   Landover Baptist Church: a parody web site mocking the political & social perspectives of fundamentalist Christians.  Entertaining if you aren't one.

Mormonism revealed--lots of quirky doctrines are lurking behind the scenes in this science fiction religion.  I am a staunch supporter of religious freedom, but I'm also a believer in critical thinking, so here are some nice links to the lesser known aspects of Mormon doctrines:

translated correctly (large site with lots of fun stuff.  best for religious cynics and skeptics)

The "Reason" (sic) web site dedicated to criticizing the Mormons from a "Christian" perspective.  Includes proof (?) that the Mormons are devil worshippers.

This personal home page by a Mormon is dedicated to proving that Mormonism does harmonize with the Bible.  Ironically, this wacky site is useful for those who might be looking for more to laugh about in their peculiar theology.
